Going into a bookstore…

Dear logistic professionals, let’s go in a bookshop and have a look on the business bookshelf. What do you notice? There is a huge quantity about business books in Finance&Controlling, Business Success Bestsellers etc. on sale, but Logistic and SCM literature is definitely underrepresented. Do you agree? At least, this is the situation in Germany, Switzerland and Austria. But what does that mean? Are the modern concepts of SCM just a hype made by some opinion leaders and an inner-circle of experts? I think,  this is very remarkable in a world, where companies beat its competitors by well-thought and superior logistic concepts and supply chain strategies! I hope, me and perhaps you can contribute a little with this blog to improve the situation about getting sound information in the world of modern logistics.
